Comfortable room with view of lake and balcony. Nice desk and chair for laptop. Small refrigerator filled with expensive hotel beverages. Lots of room to put away clothes. Many receptacles to plug in devices. Large bathroom with bathtub, overhead shower and wand. Lots of room in bathroom to put products and hang towels. Right on edge of the old town budello, a 10 minute walk to train station and 5 minute walk to ferry landing. Lots of restaurant along the lake by the hotel. Grocery store 5 minutes away. Very nice staff. Decent breakfast served early and late with good coffee from a machine. I highly recommend this hotel for comfort, view and location but need to select room with view.

I often stay in this hotel, the facilities are good, practical and homely, so the stay is always comfortable, and the breakfast selection is good and the staff always very helpful. For its price range the hotel is brilliant, and the attached restaurant (on the lake front) is very good and offers a 10% discount to hotel guests who ask at the hotel reception. The wine list is huge. This is the best located hotel in Arona, lake front, street parking in front of the hotel, attached to the historic centre and shops, central in town. There is a hotel bar, and breakfast can be enjoyed indoors or outside under a canopy, overlooking the lake.

The Hotel Giardino is fabulously located in central Arona, on the shore of Lake Maggiore and immediately connected to the historic and elegant shopping zone with multitudes of cafes and restaurants. The service in the hotel is very efficient, good breakfasts, a bar, great views on the lake side, and most usefully, and excellent attached restaurant (I like it more than others in Arona) for which if asked, the hotel will provide 10% discount cards. The selection of restaurant wines is phenomenal. This is not a five star style of hotel, but it is a fabulous place to stay, as I often do.

Hotel Giardino was in the perfect location. Centralized to cafe's, restaurants, churches, shopping etc. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the water lapping and birds singing. Our balcony overlooked Lake Maggiore. The view was spectacular! The room was modest and clean. The bathroom was tiny, with a very tiny shower. It worked for my daughter and I. The breakfast was delicious and lovely. It included fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, sliced meat n cheeses and cereal (something for everyone). The coffee machine was the best with many choices.

We stayed for one night near the end of our vacation in December. I picked this hotel because it was a short drive to the Milan airport, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Arona was a beautiful little town, even in December most of the restaurants and shops were open so we really enjoyed exploring. The hotel is in a perfect location and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The room was clean and warm, and the staff was very helpful. We checked out very early to get to the airport but I would happily stay here again for longer.
